Q: What areas do you service?
A: We service most of Loudoun County, which includes Sterling and Ashburn. We also service Vienna, Reston, Herndon, Great Falls and Oakton in Fairfax, VA.
Q: Could you take care of my pet if it's out of your service area?
A: We may, depending on our schedules. If we can accommodate you, there may be an additional fee for service. If not, we work with other amazing companies that we can refer.
Q: What's your cancellation policy?
A: We would like to be notified of cancellations within 24 hours. However, we do not charge for cancellations within a reasonable time frame. We consider this to be at least a 3 hr time frame. Otherwise, you will be charged for the visit. Cancellation within the requested amount of time will receive a credit for a future visit.
Q: Can you do overnight stays?
A: Yes, but please email us at deborahmccallen@gmail.com with details. You can also call us at 571-488-5713
Q: Am I going to have a different walker/sitter every day?
A: No. But if something should change, we would give you plenty of notice and time to meet the new walker/sitter.
Q: What if I want to meet you first to make sure I feel comfortable? And to make sure my pet likes you?
A: Barber's Barkers only wants the best for you and your pets. You receive a complimentary Meet and Greet with your fur babies to make sure it is a good fit. When you email us or book an appointment, we reach out to set up a convenient time to meet. Or just give us a call at 571-488-5713
Q: How do I know what dates and times you have available?
A: If you use the "Book Now" button, you can look at the Barber's Barkers calendar. You will be able to see the times that are not available. Please note that we typically put regular dog walks on the calendar one month in advance. We do not schedule more than a month ahead because of changes in work schedules. If you can provide a solid pet visit schedule for additional months, we will post your dates on the calendar immediately.
Q: Do you charge holiday fees?
A: Yes we charge $25 for the day. If you have more than one visit, you still will only be charged $25.
Q: How'd you get your name?
A: Barber is Stephen’s last name and we wanted to show how important family is to us. His daughter is Allison Barber. Our dog is Charlie Barber, and one day (hopefully), I will be Deborah Barber.
